Welcome to Chippenham Park Gardens, one of the best gardens in Suffolk & Cambridgeshire. We are open to the public several times a year, offering visitors the chance to explore our stunning gardens in every season. Please find the latest times, dates, and essential visitor information below.

2027 Opening Times & Dates:
2027 Entry Prices: £10 for Adults, £5 for Children (ages 5-16 years).
Please note: we are a cash only facility and not able to take card payments on the gate or in the cafe.
We welcome RHS Members with free entry between Monday and Friday. NB as per RHS Rules one entry per membership.
WINTER OPENING
EVERYDAY from Saturday 23 January until Wednesday 24 March 2027
From 10am until 4pm. Last entry at 3pm.
Our winter to spring gardens start in early January with our famous collection of beautiful Snowdrops followed by daffodils, crocus and other early Spring flowers.
EASTER EGG HUNT
TWO DAYS ONLY: Thursday 25 March and Friday 26 March 2027
10am till 4pm, last entry 2.30pm
Our annual garden Easter Egg Hunt remains over-subscribed, so we recommend booking your tickets which will be available in January. Sign up for our Gardens Newsletter to receive a reminder.
SPRING OPENING
EVERYDAY from Sunday 4 April until Saturday 1 May 2027
From 10am until 4pm. Last entry at 3pm
Looking for a wonderful Spring walk in East Anglia? Dogs (on leads) and all others, are welcome for a spring walk amongst the flowers and woodland of our Cambridgeshire gardens at Chippenham Park Ely.
SUMMER OPENING
EVERYDAY from Sunday 13 June until Sunday 20 June 2027
From 10am until 4pm. Last entry at 3pm
Our Rose Garden will be in full bloom for our summer garden opening, so come and enjoy a quintessential English Garden in this delightful corner of Cambridgeshire, a short distance from Chippenham and Cambridge.
AUTUMN OPENING
EVERYDAY from Sunday 10 October until Sunday 17 October 2027
From 10am until 4pm. Last entry at 3pm.
Autumnal colours return to Chippenham Park as our parkland and landscaped gardens in the East of England, becomes a riot of reds, oranges, yellows and greens, before the return of Winter.

Plan Your Visit
Located on the Suffolk-Cambridgeshire border, Chippenham Park Gardens is easily accessible from Ely, Newmarket, and Cambridge. Whether you're searching for gardens to visit in Suffolk or a peaceful countryside retreat, we can’t wait to welcome you.
We thank you in advance for taking note of the following before visiting our English Country Garden Estate at Chippenham Park:
Payments: We are now able to accept card payments at the gate and café.
Entry Prices: £10 for Adults, £5 for Children ages 5-16 years. To enquire about an Annual Membership, please contact the office.
RHS Members: Free entry, with your membership card, from Monday to Friday only, when the Gardens are open. Please be aware: as per RHS Joint Membership Terms, that the RHS Free access to Chippenham Park Gardens Gardens applies to cardholder one only.
Groups: We welcome groups but if you will be arriving by coach, please contact us to book in advance.
Tea Room / Café: Our café is open when the gardens are open offering a small but delicious locally-sourced menu. Access to the café is included with your garden entry fee, and is only available to those who have purchased garden entry. Please note, we are now able to accept card payments.
Easter Egg Hunt: £5 for each child taking part, in addition to Garden Entry fee of £10 for Adults. No additional entry fee for children. We urge you to book your tickets in advance.
Safety: Please be aware when visiting, especially with children, that the gardens contain large areas of unfenced, open water and we urge you to take care whilst walking, particularly if you have children in your group.
Dogs: We welcome guests with dogs on leads. Thank you, in advance, for picking up after them.
Food: You are welcome to enjoy a light lunch or drink at our Café, but we are unable to allow picnics or off-site food on the premises as, sadly, not everyone takes good care of their waste, and we do not have the staff to clear up.
Bikes & Ball Games: Please refrain from biking or playing ball games during your visit so our beautiful plants are not accidentally damaged.
Photography: We encourage you to take casual snaps of our gardens, and if you would like to organise photoshoot, please contact us for pricing.
Accessibility: Wheelchair access is limited in places although there are wood-chip paths in most places. There is wheelchair access to the outdoor toilet in the kitchen garden but the indoor toilets have a couple of steps.
Toilets: We have outdoor toilets available in the kitchen garden, in addition to indoor toilets. There are a few steps to the indoor toilets, so they are not wheelchair accessible.
Parking: we have plenty of parking available on site. For Coaches, please contact us in advance to arrange entry and parking.
